Brazil based Volunteer Organization offers New Destinations for International Volunteers Featured

Rio de Janeiro based Iko Poran Association extends its activities to new destinations, including South Africa, Costa Rica, Uganda, Peru and many more. One of the highlights of the new destinations are the animal conservation volunteer projects in South Africa. There is a program for Big Five Monitoring, volunteers are tracking elephants, buffalos, lions and big cats in the Africa Bush. See also the video below:

Construction Volunteer Projects in Uganda

Ratner family of 5 people, kids ages are 25, 22 and 19 years old went to Uganda to build a water well and pit latrine for the Kahangi village near Fort Portal for two weeks. Iko Poran has posted their testimonial about volunteering in Uganda on the homepage, with great videos and photos from the construction of the water well.

Uganda with its mild climate and the beautiful Victoria lake is a great destination for international volunteers. IKPVA hast listed all the volunteer programs in Uganda on the official site.
