Many historic, colonial mansions in the traditional neighborhood of Santa Teresa are on Sale now, and prices have considerably dropped. This may be an opportunity for investors, to find real estate at a low price which may be worth a lot more in future. Investors from London and New Zealand have recently rebuilt a centenary mansion in Santa Teresa, into an Apart Hotel.

The Indios of "Kamayurá" Tribe created the Wall Painings and Inspired the Place's Name

The absolutely unique look of this guesthouse has received the "Casa Kamayurá" from the Tribe of the Kamayurá: the façade painting is, as it were, the very personal inauguration gift of the Indians from the Amazon region, who have been amicably connected with Florian Pfeiffer for many years. The ornaments from the rainforest should not be used by Casa Kamayurá alone to decorate-they are lucky charms, the guesthouse and should be their guests hold.
