Strengthening growth in Latin America

What role for female labor participation?

On the occasion of the launch of the OECD Economic Outlook, this high-level panel of experts aimed to facilitate the exchange of views and experiences among Latin American experts on how to increase female labor participation in Latin America and thus strengthen potential growth. The panel was moderated by Sybel Galván Gómez, Ambassador of Mexico to the OECD and included Alvaro S. Pereira, Director of National Economic Studies at the OECD; Laura Ripani, Head of the IDB’s Labor Markets Division; and Ana Fernanda Maiguashca, President of the Private Competitiveness Council of Colombia.
